topic Deployment Monitor upgrade in Monitoring Splunk

Tried to update Deployment Monitor to newer version via the application manager, had a comment a new version was available. That failed, I then downloaded the file from SplunkBase to update manually but now get alerted that the name already exists. Is there a way to remove the old so I can implement the new version.

Thanks

You can actually delete the directory on the server under $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/ which would remove the application. You can then re-install it via the UI.
