Hi,

'Splunk Helpers' what is this process & what does it do? Can it be stopped/started via cmdline. Obviously if critical ..not!

Couldnt find anything on it via documentation.

/opt/splunk/bin/splunk status
splunkd is running (PID: 24123).

splunk helpers are running (PIDs: 24124 15879 15911).

splunkweb is running (PID: 24579).

Appreciate your help..
