What does $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/webintelligence/local/eventtypes.conf look like? My guess is you have a malformed event type in there.

I've installed the Web Intelligence beta, but on setup, I get the error below. I've restarted splunk a few times but that doesn't help.

IndexError: list index out of range
24 <%
25 from sets import Set
26 logger.info(form_content.search)
27 seq = [token.split('=')[1] for token in form_content.search.split(' OR ')]
28 set = Set(seq)
29 tokenList = list(set)
30 tokenList.sort()
31 tokenLen = len(tokenList)
32 %>

That seems fine. Is there anything in $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/webintelligence/default/eventtypes.conf or $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/users/<YOUR_USER_NAME>/webintelligence/local/eventtypes.conf? Any any case, I will file a bug to handle this error a bit more gracefully in the future.</YOUR_USER_NAME>
