Have you installed the "Splunk for *nix" app on the forwarder? Have you also configured it?

I'm new to Splunk and I'm having a few problems.
I have the server installed on a Windows box and one Forwarder installed on another windows box. That all seems to work OK.

I have installed another forwarder on a Solaris box an can only get the log file tracking part working. I can't figure out how to get the forward to track a forward the CPU and memory stats to the Splunk server.

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks,
Malcolm.

Is that what you mean ?
Do I need to edit the inputs file on the UNIX host at all ?
