How to NOT open a new window when executing a workflow action?

Hello All,

I would like to execute a workflow action and NOT open a new window OR same window. Does anyone have any ideas?

I simply need to send a post and do not need any output, a new window actually confuses our users and creates a mess of things.

I did have an idea of using a hidden iframe with no border, though I am not able to enter html syntax in the the workflow.conf file.

You ideas / help is most appreciated!

Thanks.. That helps, was also looking at something a little simpler by way of iframe. Your answer gives me a great option and has pointed me in the right direction...
