    <description>&lt;P&gt;OK. It sounds like you have downloaded a trial version of the Sideview Web Analytics app from the Sideview website, and what you get when you do that is a file called web_analytics.tar.gz. &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;From there, log into Splunk as an admin user. &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Go to Apps &amp;gt; Manage Apps &amp;gt; and click "install app from file" &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;upload the web_analytics.tar.gz file using the file upload control there. &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;That will install the Sideview Web Analytics app. &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Next, you will have to also get the Sideview Utils app from the sideview site here - &lt;A href="http://sideviewapps.com/apps/sideview-utils/"&gt;http://sideviewapps.com/apps/sideview-utils/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
You may already have a copy of Sideview Utils, but if it's version 1.3.5 and/or if you got it from Splunk or from apps.splunk.com, it will be an old and out of date version. &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all&lt;BR /&gt;
      How to install Side view web-analytic ,,i have one windows 7 where Splunk enterprise is installed, and access_logs are copied to that machine from my apache web server to analyse the logs..&lt;BR /&gt;
my concern is ,,where should i install Sideview and how to ??&lt;/P&gt;
