I just joined Splunk and I'm trying to find the data that it is suppose to be extracting/tracking, I can't find anything. Splunk is a keytracker for your computer correct? if so where is the data stored that has been keypunched?

Splunk does not just starting indexing data - you have to tell it what to index.

I suggest that you go through the Splunk tutorial.
