    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks this solved my problem, you can just download the apps from splunkbase to your pc and upload it to your server via the GUI from your PC&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;"No route to host" generally means that DNS can't resolve or a firewall is blocking access.&lt;BR /&gt;
Check your DNS configuration at /etc/resolv.conf&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Test DNS resolution with nslookup:&lt;BR /&gt;
    nslookup google.com&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Check for firewall rules that may be blocking you:&lt;BR /&gt;
    iptables -L&lt;/P&gt;</description>
