    <description>&lt;P&gt;Try and see what is causing the CPU to spike?&lt;BR /&gt;
check how much CPU the Splunk Universal Forwarder service / process consumes and how much the wincollect(IBM)&lt;BR /&gt;
now stop the Universal Forwarder and check the delta&lt;BR /&gt;
check if it fits your CPU performance criteria.hope it helps&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I have installed splunk on a server and where wincollect was already installed ,and CPU utilization was high.Please suggest me that can wincollect(IBM) and splunk be both on same machine.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
