Yes, the trial version of Splunk can be used with all of the apps AFAIK.

The DBX app is not provided by Splunk, but by a 3rd party. Follow the instructions here to request it.

There is also a Splunk-provided app called Splunk MySQL Connector, and a couple of technology add-ons for Microsoft SQL Server.

All of these can be found by clicking Apps in the menu bar above.

Thank you for the information.

Is there any application in splunk that will store search result directly in to Oracle?

I'm not sure if this applies to your situation but I've been using splunk with mysql for a few months. It sounds like Splunk DB Connect might help you.

http://splunk-base.splunk.com/apps/50803/splunk-db-connect

Here's some information on two apps I've used (both by Splunk):

I've been using MySQLConnector (by Splunk) for a few months -
-you can easily query your database
-you can set up lookup tables that combine db data with indexed data
-you can't (afaik) create splunk data inputs...ie...tell splunk to monitor & index a database.table

Recently I installed: Splunk DB Connect (by Splunk)
-the installation for mysql connectivity required additional steps after intalling the app
-you can easily query the database directly
-you can easily create look up tables
-you can easily monitor a database and index it's content
