Trial license bug

Hi guys,

right now i am evalutating splunk Enterprise on-premise. Firstly I chose it for uberAgent, but now I want to test monitoring our whole datacenter. Every time i try to set up the Exchange monitoring, the Enterprise trial license switches to free.

Note: A Splunk App for Microsoft Exchange license The Splunk App for Microsoft Exchange requires a license for indexing volume in addition to the license you get for Splunk Enterprise. See Install a license.

Yes.
Is it in the period of trial yet?
Yes.

Wednesday I installed the splunk Enterprise trial. Later I wanted to test the Exchange monitoring. Installing Exchange apps and rebooting splunk kicked out the splunk enterprise trial license. The Exchange App trial license was valid.

From your post, I assume that I can only test the Exchange app with a paid splunk Entprise license (not trial).
