How to get a developer license?

Hello,

I'm trying to learn how to create Splunk applications and as I'm starting I'm following the tutorial in:
http://dev.splunk.com/view/SP-CAAAERH

So far it was good but then I got the following error
GET http://localhost:8000/en-US/splunkd/__raw/servicesNS/admin/customviewtutorial/alerts/alert_actions?output_mode=json&search=(is_custom%3D1+OR+name%3D%22email%22+OR+name%3D%22script%22+OR+name%3D%22lookup%22)+AND+disabled!%3D1&count=1000&_=1552561523372 **402 (Payment Required)**

I have a free version of splunk in my local machine. I thought it was not critical because it says that you may consider getting a developer license ("Once you have installed Splunk Enterprise, consider getting a Splunk developer license. This license is optional, but it provides many benefits.").

On the other hand I tried to click on the link that is suppose to redirect to developer lincense web (I wanted to see the pricing etc), I log in with my splunk account and I got "page not found".

Anyone who can help me with this?

yes, I'm waiting to get the license I've already requested to see if this resolves the issue.

No problem,
It might take a few days I think a human has to issue it, but I may be wrong!

Since we've updated the Splunk Developer website, the link to apply for 10GB Developer licenses is now: https://dev.splunk.com/enterprise/dev_license

The approval process for 10GB Developer licenses is manual. You should expect to get a reply from us within 2-3 business days. If you don't hear back by then, please reach out to devinfo@splunk.com
