Info on installing Splunk over pci-e SSD?

Hi,

Has anybody installed Splunk over a pci-e SSD?
Reading the features, this kind of disk has over 1GB/s read/write access and 140.000 IOPS

I know that Splunk doesn't recommend SSD but it can be incredible the performance of Splunk with this.

I'd also suggest adding some...questions to your question. The answer is "yes", but that's not really adding much to the topic. Please elaborate on what it is that you'd like to know more about.
