No longer able to login to slack

This post is probably in the wrong location, so apologies.

On January 2024 (I checked the welcome email's date) I created my account on splunk-usergroups.slack.com, but found since May I can no longer login to it. By that I mean when I enter my email address I am told "It looks like there isn’t an account on Splunk Community tied to this email address." Who should I contact to find out what is going on? What should I try next?

Hi @NoClue

I guess there is a chance that your account has been de-activated, I think it would be requesting access via http://splk.it/slack as this might re-activate your account if it already exists.

You should get an invite pretty quickly after filling in the form, please let us know if this doesnt work out for you.

Right you were! Going to http://splunkcommunity.slack.com/ instead of splunk-usergroups.slack.com worked! I was able to login as I have always done. Thanks!

When did they change the url? I looked at my emails from splunk and did not find one mentioning that; not that it may have showed up and I blissfully missed it

I'm glad you were able to get back in! yes, we performed the change back in February an announced it on Slack back then.
