    <description>&lt;P&gt;There is no such thing as an &lt;CODE&gt;automatic rename&lt;/CODE&gt; in Splunk.  The closes that you can get are &lt;CODE&gt;automatic field aliases&lt;/CODE&gt; but these do not support wildcards so you will have to iterate the entire namespaces.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
