Why can't I see the Forwarder Inputs section under Data Inputs after upgrade from Splunk 6.1.4 to 6.2 and using DB Connect 1.1.4?

I followed the following steps while while upgrading from Splunk 6.1.4 to 6.2, but the Forwarder Inputs section under Data Inputs disappeared. What should I do?

Back up dbx folder to a new directory
Upgrade splunk version 6.1.4 to 6.2
Check Settings—>Data Inputs —> Forwarded Inputs section appeared
Stop splunk
Restore dbx folder
Restart splunk
Check Settings--> Data Inputs —> Forwarded Inputs section disappeared
Remove dbx folder and restart splunk
Install db connect fresh from apps version 1.1.4
Check settings —> Data Inputs —Forwarded Inputs section disappeared

upgrade to dbx version 1.1.5 resolved the issue
