Check the <A href="http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/SearchReference/Delete">documentation for the delete command</A>. The reason is that the delete command is destructive and irrevokable.</P> <P>You can grant a user the <CODE>can_delete</CODE> role to enable deleting.
