First suggestion - stop using v1. Plenty of problems with that one.

Are you getting any messages other than it isn't connected? Look in _internal or the logs under $SPLUNK_HOME/var/log/splunk.

Jump to DBConnect V3. There will be a good bit of conversion but you will not regret the results.

Hi,

Maybe this will help you:
https://answers.splunk.com/answers/120422/dbconnect-stopped-functioning.html
But as woodcock said...go to V3..performance and config is so much better!
