Hi All,

I have multiple splunk dashboards with extracted fields. Now need is to store all splunk artifacts (such as search query, dashboards, layout, extracted fields etc) to version control repository e.g. Bitbucket. So that these splunk artifacts can be promoted to different environment smoothly.

I searched over web but did not find any concrete guidance/direction on Splunk - bitbucket integration.

Thanks in advance for your support.

There have been several talks presented at Splunk's .conf over the years discussing the integration between git (bitbucket/github) and Splunk. These have mainly been around infrastructure provisioning, but can also be applicable to search artifacts, dashboards, etc...

This is a blog post from a Splunk partner that also discusses git and splunk integration, https://www.function1.com/2017/09/using-git-to-manage-splunk

Some of my large customers are using git, along with bamboo for CI/CD of search artifacts.
