&lt;P&gt;Right now I started to use Splunk, and I have so many doubts.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;When I GET the data via REST-API, I get a lot of data and well I finally find how to create fields and other things.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;How do I make Splunk get only new data and not collect old data to evade duplicate data?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
