I installed it and installed the free Splunk universal forwarder on a separate machine. However, although the forwarder installed successfully on the server on which I wanted to use it, I don’t see a user interface to configure it to forward information to the Splunk Enterprise instance on the server on which it was installed.</P> <P>Based on the video <A href="https://www.splunk.com/en_us/resources/videos/splunk-education-getting-data-in-with-forwarders.html">https://www.splunk.com/en_us/resources/videos/splunk-education-getting-data-in-with-forwarders.html</A> I don’t see an example to install it on a windows machine.
