I’m trying to implement api calls on my website hosted on Squarespace - has anyone had any success using splunk-sdk-js making API calls from Squarespace? Any working examples?

Hi lianlim,

like in your other question about the embedded dashboards, please consider the security risks before doing such a setup!

But basically it is exactly the same as documented here https://dev.splunk.com/enterprise/docs/javascript/sdk-javascript/howtousesdkjavascript/howtoconnectsdkjavascript the important things here are:

Your Squarespace instance needs to be able to connect to your Splunk instance
Create any needed firewall, security rules to protect your Splunk instance from unauthorised access
Set the capabilities of the Splunk user that connects to a bare minimum and only give read-only access

That should give you a starting point 😉
