Have you tried
LINE_BREAKER = (){"alarm":
?

Hi surekhasplunk,
what's your architecture: have you an Heavy Forwarder or not?
where do you locate the props.conf?

props.conf must be located on Indexers and (if present) on Heavy Forwarders.

Bye.
