topic Monitor web pages and WCF end points in Getting Data In

Is there an out of the box script to monitor web pages and web service end points?

I know that I could use the scripted input and call a console program which would in turn call the web service or the web page but I am wondering if there is any other out of the box option.

I am looking for a way to make sure that a particular page on each of the nodes in the cluster is rendering and also make sure that REST or SOAP end points are returning 200.

This one's pretty much the scripted input you might have written yourself, but with easier config.
