Hi,

Can you check if someone else had one of the conf files open in vim (which automatically creates a .swp file) which prevented the push?

Can you also run script specify here to verify file permission issue:

Upon running the validate cluster-bundle command we get the following error, how to troubleshoot this? As in another post I found, the user had *.conf files that were not chowned by splunk:splunk, in our case all files are owned by splunk:splunk.

Encountered some errors while validating the bundle.
The Master could not push the latest configuration bundle because it contains an invalid configuration. Fix any errors and push the bundle again. If you want to 'apply' this bundle without validation, you can skip the validation process like this: "splunk apply cluster-bundle --skip-validation". Use this option carefully, as it can cause the master to push an invalid configuration to the peers. The following errors were encountered:
Archiver failure - Failed to create archive file.
