Hello guys.
It's maybe very stupid question.
But what in your opinion, or maybe by your experience on the project/soc/etc what critical events better/must have monitoring in WIndows?

Where I can get information about it? Maybe some conferences or presentations, sites? I will be very grateful If you share experiences, information, articles related to this.

In general, I want to try to monitor important events critical to companies and make a report.

Hi test_qweqwe,
it's very hard to give a detailed answer to this question!

Anyway, what's your need: compliance, monitoring, security?

if compliance, surely you have to search login, logout and logfail events.
If monitoring you have to search all error codes.
If security, you have to search logfail and change authorizations (group or user add, modify privileges, etc...) events.

Search in internet the eventlog list and identify them by your requirement.

Bye.
