    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, Splunk can do that.  How to do it depends on the platform from which you want to fetch the info.  For Windows systems, use the Splunk Universal Forwarder and enable the desired inputs.  For Linux systems, use the 'Splunk Add-on for Unix and Linux' app.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
