&lt;P&gt;I'm looking into finding a solution to monitor business parameters that are managed appreciatively in a .NET application.&lt;BR /&gt;
For example: Imagine a website that sales tickets - I'd like upon each sale to send a notification to my centralized monitor.&lt;BR /&gt;
Is there a way to use Splunk's API from the .NET application to send this information in real time? If so please explain how...&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Splunk reccomends that you use a trace listener to send logged events to splunk, either through TCP/UDP or to the new HTTP event collector. You can use some frameworks that are pretty popular such as log4net to send logs directly into Splunk.&lt;/P&gt;
