&lt;P&gt;We have scheduled scripts. I don't want to create a scheduled script but run the script on demand. i.e. run the script just before creating a report so that I have updated data in the index.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Is it possible in splunk ?&lt;/P&gt;
