&lt;P&gt;Had the same problem, but found a solution on stackexchange &lt;A href="https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14552348/runtime-error-r6034-in-embedded-python-application"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;It turned out to be Dropbox that caused it for me.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In the end, I think this had something to do with the previously installed python versions on my system.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
