&lt;P&gt;I have completed the client side logging using universal forwarder, now i want to log server side logs in splunk server, &lt;BR /&gt;
can you please explain me how to achieve this. You documentation isn't explaining much or i'm not getting proper link.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What do you mean by server side logs? You would use the universal forwarder in the same manner on a "Server side" role as you would on a "Client side" role. The only difference would potential file inputs and permissions.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Explain what you mean in a bit more detail.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank for replying back, Actually i have completed with the client side logging with javascript using universal forwarder but now i want to log server side logs into the splunk cloud, using splunk appender, log4J.properties i have read that "log4j.properties", but i'm not gettting what should i write in it, or there are other files where i have to write.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
