      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Does splunk support indexer cluster nodes with different Operating Systems - I have a mix of stand alone Linux and Windows indexers (all running 6.2) which I would like to cluster.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Not sure what "in theory" signifies, but, as the referenced topic states, it is a requirement that all nodes run the same o.s.  &lt;/P&gt;</description>
