&lt;P&gt;so far , is splunk able to monitor how many types of resources ?like  flat files,directory etc&lt;BR /&gt;
My requirement is , to monitor hadoop and database tables. If any new detail added into that , i wanna to send that details to repository.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;is this support in splunk ?&lt;/P&gt;
