    <description>&lt;P&gt;This is meaningless as of version 4.0. All searches launch a new process that reloads the configuration from scratch each time, so search-time properties and configs are fresh regardless.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;On the other hand, if you're asking whether index-time properties, then generally no, but that changes from version to version.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
