    <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure I understand your question.  The REST URL of the target server would be the splunkd port on that server.  Accessing it via RESTful call would just be accessing the desired endpoint, regardless of what client you're on.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I want to access a Splunk remote server that has the same subnet mask, but of a different network&lt;BR /&gt;
from the client computer.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;What are the steps to get the ipaddress of the remote server and insert the ipaddress to the url that maps to the Splunk REST endpoint?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
