Hi

Has anyone successfully imported the Splunk MIB ino CA Spectrum 9.2 ? when we try Spectrum gives the following error message.

Could not parse the file SPLUNK-ALERT-MIB.txt. The error occured at the line no: 41 ,column: 13 The keyword ENTERPRISES is missing.

Ive raise a support case with both Splunk and CA Spectrum, however they both say "we don't support third party products"

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave,

I am also having the same issue. If you get a result, can you please let me know?

Kindest Regards,
Shane

PS What does "inported" mean?

It looks like its an issue with the MIB, I used a few on-line MIB syntax checkers and they produce the same error, it looks the Splunk MIB dosen't comform to SMIv2, this standard was released in 1993.

Ive updated the support ticket with Splunk, so hopefully they update the MIB.
