      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Guys,&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I am relatively new to Splunk for monitoring ,although I have past experience in Hyperic HQ for monitoring resources availability,But now I have to achieve it through splunk,So I want to know that can we achieve the same in splunk enterprise also.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Can you please provide me links/steps on how to solve above problem?&lt;/P&gt;

If I go to my specific requirement,I want to monitor all running services' status like Cassandra,jboss,rabbitmq,nginx,mysql...&lt;LONG list=""&gt; etc.. on all nodes of my cluster.&lt;/LONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
