    <description>&lt;P&gt;There is a ReST interface to Splunk which can be used, e.g. using curl, to send commands into Splunk to execute searches and retrieve events. There is also a HEC interface that you can send events into Splunk. Either or both of these might help you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
