      <description>&lt;P&gt;After an upgrade from 4.2.4 to 4.3 on Windows 2008 R2 Server (64bit) I get the following error after the login:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;500 Internal Server Error &lt;BR /&gt;
Return to Splunk home page&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'os_startIndex'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
You are using 10.41.5.22:8000, which is connected to splunkd @115073 at &lt;A href="https://127.0.0.1:8089"&gt;https://127.0.0.1:8089&lt;/A&gt; on Thu Jan 19 10:43:44 2012.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
