Certificate Authentication for C# splunk SDK ?

In C# Splunk SDK, is there any other option to connect to Splunk service without passing username and password (explicitly as text).. like using certificates?

If so, how to create certificate for sdk authentication and implement the same in C# code?

Hi All,

We are also looking for the same option.
There is a mandate to use certificate authentication in addition to username and password.
Please can someone advise.

Certificate authentication is not supported by Splunk client side API.

Although this is not what you are looking for, if you run the C# application in a web server, you can authenticate in the web server, with client certificate, and then connect to Splunk server with a saved user name and password.
