trying to install demo enterprise and splunkweb wont start

That's a pretty damned ancient kernel you've got there! Not sure if that has any bearing on it.

yeah its just a testing container for some generic sites so its not a concern to have it up to date.

to answer your other question, the pastebins to the logs are there in the post, I just took off the http to get around the karma block
