    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Splunk Team!&lt;BR /&gt;
I have upgrade Splunk enterprise ver 7.3.1.1 to splunk enterprise 8.0.0&lt;BR /&gt;
the installed all done don't have error&lt;BR /&gt;
i have check ./splunk status result running&lt;BR /&gt;
but i don't connect &lt;A href="http://splunkserver:8000"&gt;http://splunkserver:8000&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
i see splunk server not listen port 8000&lt;BR /&gt;
how can i fix it! Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;did you make sure that all your addons/TAs are compatible with splunk 8 ? that is very important as python version changed to v3.&lt;BR /&gt;
What logs say ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
