i need to open the application but i can't open getting the blank page for it what troubleshooting i can do to open the application on the splunk UI

Is this a Splunkbase app? Please could you post a link to it?

there’s a chance that the app doesn’t have a UI itself, eg it’s just props/transforms/searches so I would need to check.

If the app does have an UI view which does not open but presents a blank page (which I understand is your case, not as @livehybrid asked - the app does not have UI at all), it typically indicates some error with Splunk's internal HTTP request processing. You can check with your browser's monitoring console if some requests aren't throwing 500 errors. If so, you might check if there is additional error with them.

You should also look for errors in _internal index (either in splunkd.log or in a log file specific to that app).

Is the app supported on your Splunk version? That kind of problem can arise from python version mismatch.
