Why does user with "power" role only see the "Search" option in the navigation menu and nothing else?

Hello!

I have a Splunk Enterprise 9.0.7 deployment. I have a local user with the "power" role. When connecting to the Search & Reporting app I can only see the Search option:

Isn't "power" role able to access other app features? Expectation is to see what users with "admin" role see:

What have I done wrong?

Hi,

Did you made any changes to 'user' or 'power' role?

'Power' inherits some capabilities from 'user', so if you removed/changed some capabilities from 'user', they will also be reflected on 'power'.

Are you sure all power user has the same issue or only a specific user, please check that.
- If only this user is having this issue, there is a great deal of chance that the user has navigation in his/her etc/user/local folder. Which is overriding what the App's default navigation.
- If all power user is having this issue, then you may have changes some capability for roles in your environment..
