Is there an API access to the MC?

We don't like to give blind access to the MC, to temporary Splunk contractors. They need something like the following -

- Search performance and distributed search framework

- Indexing performance

- Operating system resources usage

- Splunk KV store performance

- Index and volume usage

- Forwarder connections and network performance

Is there a way to access this information from outside the MC? API or any other way?

@danielbb - Here is what you can do, there are two options:

Use dashboard embedding (You will find many blogs around this online)
Use REST API to fetch data from Splunk search via rest API and then build your own dashboard with UI and backend framework of your choice.

(This will not gonna be a simple setup for sure, you will have to invest time in it.)
