topic InfraMon licensing in Splunk Cloud Platform

Can someone explain the licensing model for InfraMon? Does 1 host = 1VM? If I'm using this tool for basic telemetry monitoring such as CPU / RAM / Disk, that could be very expensive at that ratio. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks.
