You can verify the name of a created Splunk Add-on from the ** Splunk Add-on Builder ** by checking the folder name in
$SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps
. Your new add on gets created here and has a header of
TA
.

If the name of your add-on was * Add-On for Logs *, a folder gets created in
$SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps
called
TA-add-on-for-logs
.

We found the following under $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps.

TA-cisco
TA-cisco_ios
TA-ftp
TA-nix
TA-rsa
TA-splunk
TA-windows

Are these all add-ons.

Can there be more than one add on.

I believe the acronym
TA
is Technology Add-on, so it is reasonable to assume anything with
TA-
would be an add-on.
