Hello,
I configured some urls to be monitored by port monitoring application.

Most of the are working fine but for few, It only has data that time_out is false, other fields "total_time= request_time= response_code="
are just empty, with no values.

By the way, urls are working OK

Anyone has an explanation?

Thanks a lot

@jaimelopez We need a little more information to help out. Are you using website_input or website_monitoring? Which version do you have installed? Which version of Splunk are you using?

Hi @jwiedow,
I am using Website Monitoring.
Regarding the version I would need to ask to admin but i do not know if it is important as most of the url inputs are working successfully.

Thanks and regards,

I have this same issue running Splunk 8.0.1 and using the Website Availability Check under Settings >> Data >> Data Inputs >> Website Availability Check

You can see the version of Website Monitoring by going to the app and looking at the "What's New" link. You also want to look at the Health|Logs and then filter to ERROR and see if there are any errors showing up.

Your admin may need to search the _internal logs for other errors in sourcetype=web_availability_modular_input OR sourcetype=website_monitoring_rest_handler.

@wwhite12 make sure you are using at least Website Monitoring 2.8; which was the first officially supported release for Splunk 8.x and Python 3. I would recommend updating to 2.9.1 or 2.9.2.

As I mentioned to @jaimelopez, check the Health|Logs for ERRORs, what do you see? Then check your _internal logs for sourcetype=web_availability_modular_input OR sourcetype=website_monitoring_rest_handler for other errors or notes.
