    <description>&lt;P&gt;No, but I guess I'd say that it doesn't need to.  Use of version control is possible at really any level.  I use mercurial for app version control, and I can't imagine why I'd want Splunk to really take any role in that.  It just works.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
