    <description>&lt;P&gt;agreed, that's why it is limited to exactly one app and certain key / value pairs in this &lt;CODE&gt;local/foo.conf&lt;/CODE&gt; file !  Last to say, I used only Splunk features to create this editor.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The lookup editor is a great app for modifying lookup files! &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;There are so many things that can come from this app.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Has there been any ideas for the same concept, but for editing configuration files in the UI?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;This would be awesome so that admin roles can just edit conf on the fly without going into the filesystem..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I did write exactly such an App for a costumer, but the costumer denied it to be published &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
